A-GIRL was created a thousand years ago while I was on a certain film Production (it was called Lion King). There I was doing Crazy hours drawing Mufasa and I can’t tell you exactly why I came up with A-Girl, but for some reason I did. AT the same time, my friend Steve Kongsle exposed me to hand made, DIY small press comics and zines, which dragged me kicking and screaming into the realization that I COULD DO SMALL PRESS COMIX TOO.
It was the best decision ever. Met lots of Great people and enjoyed that awesome, creative time that was the small press explosion of the 90′s. Eventually, A-Girl had to be put into a drawer when things got too much and I had a bad episode of health (both my hands went kablooie). But Thankfully, that’s all past now.
So here she is again.
Enjoy.
Best Wishes,
